Well done to everyone who took part in the Eggs-Travaganza competition. Lots of Dojo points have been awarded and the winners will be announced later this week. A big thank you to Mr Brabin for organising this.

 

Science Week 2023

There was a fantastic array of science activities across the school last week as we celebrated Science Week. Thank you to all the parents who came to provide such amazing workshops and Mrs Avery for organising everything.

Year 3/4 Football event

 Congratulations to the Year 3/4 girls who took part in the Cranford House Football event this week. The players had a lovely afternoon of football and came out with some great results winning 1, losing 1 and drawing 2 games.

Yoga Club

 Mrs Nash's lunchtime Yoga Clubs are proving to be incredibly popular with all year groups! The sessions are calm and purposeful enabling the children to work on their yoga poses and breathing techniques before their afternoon lessons. 

"The calming background music makes me feel relaxed and I enjoy learning new balances and yoga poses. This week our focus was on twisting."

World Book Day

It was amazing to see an assembly hall full of so many different book characters! The children have spent the day celebrating reading and creating book corners, door covers and swapping teachers for a class book.

We have recently asked children to apply to be a Reading Ambassador and we have been amazed by the interest - well over 75!
