Buckland are triumphant

Well done to everyone in Buckland House for winning the overall house cup this year. Yesterday they had a house party outside in the sun to celebrate.

Surprise!!

Yesterday we managed to surprise Mrs Haigh with a special assembly to say goodbye. The hall was packed and Mrs Haigh got the surprise of her life when she was ushered in! Each class had prepared a lovely goodbye in their own unique way. Everything from poems to songs to video messages were presented.

Party!

Thank you to everyone who helped to make Friday evening such a lovely occasion.
Mrs McKeown's photos are beautiful.

Year 5/6 Geography Projects

This term in Geography the children in Upper Key Stage Two have been focusing on countries of the world and were given the task of selecting a country to complete an in depth study of. In order to extend their learning further the children completed a topic-based homework project which enabled them to recreate an element of their chosen country’s culture. The children produced some fantastic projects and we greatly enjoyed sharing them in class.  Well done!

Bugsy Malone

The Year 5's and 6's were absolutely amazing this week in their 3 performances of Bugsy Malone.

It was full of drama, song and comedy and despite the numerous scene changes they were superb at remembering their lines.

Thank you to Mrs McKeown for these fantastic photos.
