Murder Mystery in Upper Key Stage 2!!!

This morning the Year 5/6 children were faced with a problem -  a terrible crime has been committed and the only way to solve it was to use and apply the maths that they had learnt this year.

This involved (among other things) remembering Fibonacci, Pascal, triangular, square, prime, emirp and cube numbers.

The culprit was eventually discovered - Broken Claw - Cholsey's criminal mastermind (otherwise known as Mr Godfrey).

Serious calculations on the go!

Questioning one of the suspects

Another suspect is interviewed...

Should there be another occurrence, then the year 3/4's
will have to investigate next week! Watch this space.............
