Silence - a poem by Edward Thomasson

Silence is a thoughtful moment.
It can be what you wish,
Anything it can be
Just a thought can bring it alive.
Like a ship on gusty seas
Never too still but not too fast
As long as you try it will last
More fragile than air,
It breaks at the sound of any.
It is non-existent in cities
Yet dense in places.
Silence is all around
As long as there is no sound.

  1. I loved this poem that Edward composed during a free writing session

  2. What a fantastic poem! Well done Edward.
