AHOY! Year 1 had a great pirate day last week to launch the new sailing adventure topic.
The children took part in lots of crafts to make pirate hats, eye patches, tea stained treasure maps as well as learning new techniques including marbling.
The children were inspired to create a pirate ship outside and painted a huge flag where they enjoyed lots of fantastic role-play!
The day ended with a pirate picnic and singing.
