Year 5 Moon Buggies

Today the Year 5s began their Moon Buggy project in preparation for choosing 4 teams to represent the school at St Birinus after half term.

This project has run successfully for many years now with St Birinus School generously providing the equipment and resources.

Mrs Avery is our resident expert and the children were set the challenge of creating a buggy in teams of 4 that would be fastest, most able to climb a gradient, and most efficient at carrying and delivering a moon rock safely.

Teamwork was great and the project will continue next week in preparation for the trials in school to choose our most successful 4.
