Brass Band Awards 2016
Congratulations to all our brass band players and many thanks to Mildred Taylor for coming in today to present her cup and the special awards. Thank you to Ms Atkins and Mr Barlow for another musical year.
The band have been providing us with a varied and entertaining soundtrack this year (with 500 miles being my personal favourite). Visitors often comment on how fantastic the sound is and one man on the phone even thought it was hold music!
The many bands have indeed entertained us all year! Great to see the players recognised with awards. First time I've seen Adam speechless even if it was just for about a second!
