Wallingford Dance Festival

On Tuesday, some of the Year 4 children took part in the 'Wallingford Dance Festival'. They had been rehearsing their Hungarian themed dance for a number of weeks and finally show day had arrived!

The children spent the afternoon at Wallingford school rehearsing with the other participating schools ready for the evening show. The children saved their very best performance until last and their routine was spectacular! Thank you to Mrs Anchors for supervising the children throughout the day.

  1. From a parent: Just a note to Miss Addison to say thank you so much for organising the Cholsey children in the dance festival. It was a really enjoyable evening, and she should be very proud of Cholsey's performance. My child was SO excited to have been chosen, and really enjoyed himself - thank you!

Thank you also to the parent(s) who helped out on the day - I wasn't able to get time off work, but really appreciated their efforts, as I know how hard it is to squeeze these extras into the school day when parents think they are child-free for a few hours!

  2. And another: Just to say we really enjoyed the dance festival, so lovely to see the children all enjoy dancing and having fun. Our child loved taking part and wants to do it again!
Many thanks to all those for organising.

We really appreciate your comments - Heather
