Art update

This has been a fantastic project where every child from Cholsey Primary School has taken part. They have been studying movement in art and for this exhibition have focussed on British summer sports. They were also very inspired by the techniques of many artists:

Monet           Escher         Bracques              Matisse                    Seurat

Why not go along and see whether you can spot which piece was inspired by each of these artists?

Early Years - crowd scene
Year 1 & 2 – tennis racquet inners
Year 3 & 4 – water paintings for the wave
Year 5 & 6 – tennis racquet frames
KS2 children photographed, painted, cut out and constructed “Wireless”, our surfer, and produced the final piece of art that you see before you. Enjoy!

  2. It was lovely, the photos are great, but don't quite do it justice. I really enjoyed strolling round the exhibition.
