Cricket

On Friday eight Y4/5 children took part in the 'Chance to Shine' cricket festival at North Moreton Cricket Club. The children demonstrated excellent skills and we were really impressed by the fielding in particular.
In one of the photos you can see the children searching for the ball Jack hit after he struck it so hard it flew across the boundary and ended in someone's garden! The children worked really well as a group and demonstrated excellent sportsmanship.
Overall, we came a respectable 4th place, scoring a grand total of 690 runs against some tough opponents!
