This term, the children and staff in KS1 have been enjoying some golf lessons. These sessions are run by Greg, a local golf coach, and are funded by this years Sport Premium funding. These sessions form part of our CPD PE program for staff, who are developing their knowledge and skills in delivering high quality PE lessons.
Welcome to our school blog. Here we will show you some of the things we have been getting up to at Cholsey Primary School. We would love to hear your comments (note that these may not appear immediately)

Digital Learning at Manor School
A group of our children had a great time today being shown how to code instructions onto Microbits. Thank you to Manor School for inviting us and to their digital leaders for teaching us. Fun was had by all.
National Fitness Day
To celebrate 'National Fitness Day', children in Year 6 took part in a Les Mills style work out with Sharon and Marie. The session was lots of fun and really highlighted the importance of keeping fit and healthy.

Roast Wednesday
Wednesdays are always popular for hot lunches, due to it being 'roast' day. Today was no exception with roast gammon, roast potatoes and an array of vegetables, followed by custard, being one of the options on offer. The usual salad, fruit and bread bar for the children to select from was also available. There were lots of clean plates all round.

Year 3/4 adventure
This week all of the year 3/4s went to Path Hill near Goring to experience life on the river as part of their Wind in the Willows topic. The children enjoyed time both in the woods and on the river looking for clues about the story. Thank you to all the parents who helped take the children to and from the centre.
