HAL Week - Day 5
For the final day of our HAL week, we had a variety of activities happening across the school. KS1 took part in their House Rounders tournament, LKS2 went swimming and FS had a multi sports lesson delivered by Mr Gannon. In UKS2 Mrs Clarke, from Wallingford School, came to teach a Zumba lesson and during the afternoon they had a visit from Luke and Leigh, who ran a British Military Fitness session for them.
We hope that all of the children have enjoyed the activities on offer during HAL week and hope that it has inspired them to be more active.

LKS2 fruit and vegetable tasting
As part of HAL week, the LKS2 children took part in some food tasting sessions. They tried out a variety of fruit and vegetables. Afterwards they made some great tasting smoothies!

HAL Week - Day 4
Today FS and KS1 had a Zumba lesson! It looks like they had a lot of fun.
Whilst Zumba was happening in the hall, KS2 held a House Rounders tournament to decide who would win the trophy this year.

HAL Week - Day 3
Today, the children took part in an International Dance workshop! Each class chose a country and were taught a short dance routine from that country's style of dance. We had everything from Aboriginal Australian dance to Mexican dancing to Brazilian carnival dancing. At the end of the day the classes performed their routines to each other in a festival of dance.
