New Caterers

Our new caterers The School Lunch Company have been with us since the beginning of November. We asked our School Councillors to interview diners to check out their opinions of how things are going.

Eloise in Year 2 said that the Salmon Fishcake was "brilliant."

Idalina reported that the chocolate crispy cake was "delicious and smells nice."

Olivia liked the apple crumble which was sweet and soft.

Roseanna thought the Macaroni Cheese was very cheesy.

Dylan thinks the portions are larger than before.

Betty really enjoyed the curry and rice.

Shandre gave the lasagne a 5 star rating.

Niamh loves the meat option - she said the meat is soft and not all dry.

i rock!!

We were treated to a fantastic i rock performance yesterday. The children were amazing!

Christmas Lunch

Thank you to our fantastic caterers for a fabulous Christmas lunch. As usual the children ate with their buddies and enjoyed decorating their tables with Christmas colouring. The food was outstanding.

Open Classrooms 13th December

A HUGE thank you to all the parents who came into school last Friday morning for our open classroom event. The children were extremely proud to share all their learning from our Autumn topic Our Wonderful World.
We hope that they have been inspiring you at home too and sharing all the amazing facts they have learnt. Here are some photos of children and their work in KS1.

House Winners

A big well done to Pudmore House for having the most house points overall this term. Their house captains will be liaising with staff to decide on a house celebration.

Our house captains organised a house writing competition this term, where children wrote a description of the animal/mythical creature linked to their houses. Years 5&6 had an extra challenge of only being able to use 100 words.

The following winners were selected by teachers and each won 30 points for their houses:

Ivy Nash
Beth Newbold
Orly Howe
Sam Newbold
Flynn Pearce
Sacha Buccheri

There were lots of amazing descriptions using imaginative and engaging language.

Bounce2Fitness video

Bounce2Fitness

Today, the children in Years 2-6 took part in a Bounce2Fitness workshop. The children thoroughly enjoyed doing exercise to music on their own trampoline! We are hopeful that Chelsea will be able to come back to run an after school club for us later in the year.
