One of the things we missed the most when we had COVID bubbles was the fact that we couldn't mix classes and therefore the reading buddies had to go on hold. I am delighted to report that this is now back up and running. This weekly event really helps promote a love of reading amongst pupils. The younger children love reading to/with their older buddies!
Welcome to our school blog. Here we will show you some of the things we have been getting up to at Cholsey Primary School. We would love to hear your comments (note that these may not appear immediately)

Salt dough relief maps
The children in Siberian Tiger class have been making salt dough relief maps of South America. Once dry, the children painted them to show the location of the rainforests. They were really surprised at how large the Amazon is! Lots of fun and great learning.

Art of being Brilliant
Well done to the children in KS2 last year who designed a positivity T shirt last term. Their designs were judged by Will at the Art of Brilliance and he selected the following designs to be made into actual T-Shirts. We hope to share more news soon about how they can be ordered.

Our first trip of the year !
Year 5/6 spent today at The Living Rainforest to kick off their new topic Our Wonderful World. They were impeccably behaved and learnt some amazing facts about the plants and animals in our rainforests.
