Teaching staff took part in their first PE CPD of the year today. We have used our Sport Premium funding to invest in a cross curricular orienteering scheme of work. This will support active lessons across the curriculum, and children will be able to use the resources at playtimes, helping the children to achieve their active 60 minutes per day.
Welcome to our school blog. Here we will show you some of the things we have been getting up to at Cholsey Primary School. We would love to hear your comments (note that these may not appear immediately)

Year 3/4s visit the timeline
It was great to see the Year 3/4s visiting our huge timeline in the courtyard today. The timeline is a great way to see the different historical periods we learn about in school in a visual way.
Here are the Harriers looking at when the Anglo Saxons were in England.

Anglo Saxon Invasion
On Friday afternoon Year 3/4 held an invasion between the 3 tribes that made up the Anglo Saxons. Goshawks played the Saxons from the Netherlands, Harriers the Jukes from Denmark and Panthers were the Angles from Germany. They sailed across the sea (playground) to arrive in different areas of England. As they rowed, they chanted their songs.
