We had a brilliant journey to Kilvrough Manor, had lunch in the sunshine, and this evening, orienteering in the rain. The children all ate well during the evening meal and enjoyed a Halloween Hunt before going to their rooms to get ready for bed. There is a lot of excitement about activities tomorrow.
Welcome to our school blog. Here we will show you some of the things we have been getting up to at Cholsey Primary School. We would love to hear your comments (note that these may not appear immediately)

Our Working Walls
When you visit our classrooms, you will see that our wall displays are essential parts of the classroom learning environment. We call them working walls and their job is to show all of the key learning from each topic. Children are encouraged to "visit the working wall" when they are working independently to be reminded of what has been discussed in class.
Here is an example of an English working wall from Year 56 who have been doing a unit based around the book There's a boy in the girl's bathroom. The children have worked so hard on this and have produced some fantastic advice letters.

New Play Equipment
The children have absolutely loved having a go on the new play equipment this week. We have set up a rota which allows every year group a go at different times of the week.
The PTA officially opened the new zone after school today - a HUGE thank you to them for all their fundraising efforts that paid for this.
Here are some of them enjoying themselves.
