What a slimetastic session!

Is slime a solid or liquid -or is it both?

Years 3/4 had great fun creating gloopy slime. Look at the faces they made! Look how stretchy the slime was!

Science Week

Science week had a glorious start with most of the children delving into a large box of snot - yes that's right! The Respiratory Medicine Unit visited from the JR and shared about the good and bad things that are in our snot, and most importantly why it is sometimes green! The children also had the opportunity to become real doctors using stethoscopes and breath meters then finally took part in lung football - not as easy as you might think!

Sea Otters message from an author and illustrator

Sea Otter’s class enjoyed learning to draw pugs from the book Pugs from the Frozen North on World Book Day.
Ms Williams showed the pictures to the Illustrator Sarah Macintyre and the author Philip Reeve on Twitter and they sent us lovely messages back! 

Foundation Phonics Tea Party

Thank you to all the parents who came a long to our phonics tea party yesterday - we had a great turnout! Hope you enjoyed the biscuits that the children had made!

World Book Day

Chris from Wheel Power came to visit us earlier today. He ran an inspirational assembly explaining how he got into Paralympic sport and what his work with Wheel Power involves.
