Introductory Assembly to Science Week

Science Week was launched today in Foundation by Adam Curtis and in assembly by Stephen Haigh. Some ‘bottle’ questions to think about over the weekend:

1.     When you swing the bottle on the string, why do you think that the liquid looks as if it is staying solid in the bottle?

2.     Why do the cloves etc sink when you squeeze the bottle and rise when you let go again?
