This week year 3 and 4 have spent the week being historians and archaeologists. They have studied a range of artefacts and sources of information in order to discover information about the Vikings. The children had great fun dissecting Viking poo in order to identify a Viking's diet, studied a range of artefacts including: Viking clothes, models of long-ships and coins and they discovered the name of a Viking village which they researched. They have also found out where, when and why the Vikings came to Britain and the secrets to their successful raids. We've had a great week and will continue to discover 'were the Vikings really vicious?' for the rest of the term.
