Black Lives Matter - Lower KS2

 Years 3 & 4 spent Friday learning about why Black Lives Matter. They did a range of different lessons including:

1. Inside/outside - Making paper plates to demonstrate that we all look different, but we are all made from the same thing. Humans look different but are the same on the inside.
2. Prejudices- Discussed prejudices and made a paper plate thinking about how people could potentially prejudge us and then what we are really like.
3. Opportunity- Discussed opportunities and how not all people have equal opportunities. The children decided that those children who do have more opportunities than others, should help those who have less.
