We are all very excited to be here at Kilvrough for a week of challenges, team building and great fun!
After arriving we met our instructors for the week and went off to unpack - thankfully all bags were reunited with their owners eventually and it wasn't long before we heard all about our activities planned for the week: canoeing, caving and climbing.
After lunch our first challenge was team building tasks on site. The children soon learnt the importance of listening to team members and working collaboratively.
Tea was fish fingers & veg followed by jelly and ice cream. This in turn was followed by birthday cake to celebrate Josh's birthday.
As I write this the children are taking part in an evening orienteering challenge making full use of their torches.
Fingers crossed for a good night's sleep ready for tomorrow's activities.
