We had a very exciting night with the fire alarm going off at about 11pm, which meant we put our experience from the practice drill on Day 1 to good use and evacuated the building. It turned out to be a fault in the system, but the children were all fabulous at going back to sleep.
We've had a wonderful day today, despite not being able to go caving due to the high water levels (this caused disappointment for some and relief for others). We all went on a coastal walk around the Gower Peninsular, where some had a go at crawling through a small cave. We then climbed down to a secluded beach and spent time exploring and having fun.
We are now packing so that we can go out on activities as quickly as possible tomorrow. Then it will be time for the talent show. There is a huge variety of acts on offer, so we are all looking forward to that.
We are so impressed with all of the children. They have been exceptional in their positive attitude and have grown hugely in confidence and independence over the past few days. We are very grateful to their families for letting us spend this week with them.
Wow, what a stunning location!
